St. Joseph's Oratory was built in 1927.
The Oratory was a gift from Thomas Flynn of Olean, NY. The money
was donated by Mr. Flynn in memory of his wife Catherine. The
credit for the idea of building the Oratory is given to Mother Imacculata.
Aside from the Oratory itself, there are also three different memorials
around it. There is the Father Robert M. Stewart Memorial which is
located to the right of the Oratory, a 9/11 Memorial that is located behind the
Oratory, and the Father Mychal F. Judge Memorial located to the left of the
Oratory. |
